Qualifications and certifications

Francesca began practising yoga in 1997 and has been teaching yoga and meditation in primary and secondary schools and yoga centres since 2006. She has been certified to teach Himalayan Hatha Yoga and Prana Kriya Yoga by Yogi Ashokananda and has completed 200 hrs Hatha Yoga Teacher training with Nigel Gilderson and Christopher Gladwell.
She is also a certified Holistic massage therapist (Beaumont College) and Ayurvedic practitioner (Ayurveda Pura/Body Basics) taught by Dr Deepa Apte.

It quickly became apparent by witnessing both her own personal development and that of her students, that the many benefits of a safe, regular yoga and meditation/relaxation practice would greatly enhance the lives of young adults in a demanding world with ever greater social and academic pressures. Her specialised work within schools in both the private, state and special needs sectors, enables her to teach in groups or privately with children and young adults with a vast range of differing needs.
Her passion lies in the development of the students she teaches, sensitively offering practices to enhance well being and create a harmonious inner dialogue at challenging times of development. Watching children and young adults flourish as a result of their own application of the techniques is its own reward.

The YES course

The YES course was born from observing the needs of her students and the challenges that they face. Over the years, Francesca wrote the course to respond to their requirements by creating and adding practices to create a comprehensive series of techniques that are simple and applicable for students to practice to enhance their every day.
Francesca is committed in encouraging students to connect with the joy of self inquiry, with innocence and depth, focus and discipline to challenge mental and physical perceived limitations to strive to create a deeper understanding and awareness of oneself and oneself in the context of others in order to truly thrive in todays modern exacting societies.

Charity work

Furthering the importance of education to under privileged young girls became a key area of focus for Francesca and she is a trustee and board member of a charity education program in rural India and The Sita Devi primary school in Tiruvannamalai, she annually visits the projects to oversee developments.
